I approached Acorn Glassline to see if they would consider doing a bespoke stain glass window that had lost all of the glass, with some very considered suggestions and colour options they produce a magnificent well fitted window that looks stunning, they also were able to etch a picture of both the dogs onto the glass as well.I could not recommended these people high enough to anyone looking for windows or bespoke work like this.Thank you to Sherri and all the guys for your hard work.

I have used Acorn Glass line on a number of occasions and found them to be very professional, thorough. I had all of my Windows, Doors Roofline and all of the cladding replaced by them and found all the products used were of high quality. The work was carried out diligently even with my fussiness about hiding all the silicone around the windows to brick work with trim was carried out without hesitation. The team were very courteous and cleaned all the work areas thoroughly. - I want to raise a serious concern about the poor quality product supplied and the way we were treated during the installation of our windows and doors from which we lost thousands of pounds as well as incur property damage. We felt pressured into accepting work that had clear manufacturing defects and fell far below an acceptable standard, eg, cheap PVC material, inappropriate size hinges, cheap window locks. The lady (homeowner) present felt intimidated by the behaviour of the installers, and the overall experience left us feeling uncomfortable and unable to challenge the issues properly. Look at their reviews on TRUSTPILOT- I would urge other women to be cautious, as the dynamic made us feel particularly vulnerable. We have suffered significant losses as a result of the installation, and the matter is now before the courts. We are also aware that other customers have reported similar negative experiences, particularly women and older people who appear to be more vulnerable and therefore more easily targeted.- The door they installed began failing almost immediately (withing a day or two), with components falling off and the door repeatedly becoming stuck, despite being brand new. Over a period of 6 months it dropped more than 6 times - one only needs common sense to know something is inherently wrong. We've tried to resolve this so many times since 2024 with the company but they've dismissed us constantly.- They advertise “insured guarantees,” yet repeatedly refused to honour them, instead attempting to charge us for repairs on multiple occasions and calling their minimal interventions “gestures of goodwill.” Their so called insurance backed guuarantee is useless.- Rather than fixing their defective installation, they deflected blame and escalated matters maliciously, including reporting false information to Building Control in order to sanction us — a vindictive act that had nothing to do with the door issue but done as intimidation and victimisation.- They accused us of not knowing how to use a standard patio door, despite the fact that I have an identical door elsewhere on the property that I’ve used flawlessly for five years. (the white door in the pictures)- Their own engineer admitted the hinges they fitted were too small and not heavy‑duty enough for a door of this size — a clear manufacturing or installation fault they still refuse to take responsibility for. As you can see from the pictures the hinges on the white door measures 12cm while the grey door Acorn installed the hinges measure barely 5cm as seen in the picture. A 5cm hinge is not heavy duty enough to bear the load of a 1800mm x 2100mm door. Also from the survey done - it appears that Acorn uses cheap PVC materials that cannot adjust to the different whether patterns causing issues. These are inherently manufacturers problems which they viciously denies but yet their engineers admit this on site.- The door has been adjusted multiple times and continues to drop, proving that the underlying issue is structural, not “user error,” as they repeatedly and falsely claim.- Their staff left mud, scratches, and damage on newly installed flooring, showing blatant disregard for my home and zero professionalism.- They attempted to rewrite events and fabricate explanations, including claiming wind damage on a day with no wind, user error and inventing scenarios to avoid accountability. We have exactly the same design door on the property that I have been using for the last 5 year - why would we not know how to use the door Acorn supplied - there is nothing special about it apart from the fact the material is cheap and poorly designed.- They promised a Certass certificate — a legal requirement — yet it has never been provided, leaving me without the documentation I paid for and am entitled to. (see email assuring us that CERTASS certificate would be provided)- Their behaviour is bullying, dismissive, and manipulative, shifting blame onto the customer rather than addressing their own substandard workmanship and poor‑quality fittings.

After renovating my house and using a somewhat below par glazing supplier, it wasn't long before I had to replace all the glazing! When I found Acorn, and Steve, it was like a breath of fresh air. When the time came the Acorn team showed up when promised and replaced all the windows on my property with no fuss or issue. And when they were done it was like they had never been! Acorn were recommended to me by a colleague, approx 4 years ago. They having worked with Acorn across a number of projects for some years before. I have no hesitation in recommending Acorn. Acorn have provided doors and windows for a number of residential rental projects - period style houses and those of a more modern styling. The level of service is high throughout - from the initial measure with Jason, receiving the quote from Steve, to the fitters, to the office staff - Sherri & Jayne. Where I've had several quotes, Acorn have always been the most competitive. It's almost 4 years since the first install from Acorn - the windows and doors still look good and are functioning as they were the day they were installed. We had a lovely glass lantern fitted by Acorn Glassline on our rear extension which has let so much more light in the room for us .I also had a brand new side door fitted which I was very impressed with the quality of the door but also the care and attention that the guy took fitting the door as we had just recently had a new kitchen and they managed to fit the new door without doing any damage to any paint work around the door area !I would highly recommend Acorn Glassline to anyone who was looking for a decent job to be done .

Extremely disappointed with the poor quality of the windows and doors provided by this company along with poor service. Days after installation, the restrictor fell off. Upon notifying them, they pointed the finger at everyone else but themselves. Months later I tried opening the windows and the lock fell and key literally sprung out the window and the door locked in me inside and wouldn't open. They've admitted that my windows and doors are amongst a dodgy batch of UPVCs manufactured but yet they did nothing about. Needless to say as soon as they repaired the door for the umpteenth time, it stopped locking. Which caused my property to be burgled as it's been almost 5 months now I've asking them to come back and repair the door but they've refused. I wrote a letter of complaint to them but they rubbished my concerns and remained steadfast in their decision not to repair, but thankfully I retained evidence and this will now become a legal matter. I've tried all I could to settle this matter amicable.

James and James arrived to do the job on time and finished promptly. It was an awkward job on the side of a church with stone work and metal posts holding up the roof - but their work was excellent and the finish of a really high standard. We are all really pleased with the result and are happy to recommend them to anyone else.
They got me out of a hole today with a couple of units made quickly. Cannot fault the service or quality. Would highly recommend

We have use Acorn/Glassline previously for a conservatory roof replacement and so they were our number one choice when we needed new windows.Apart from being happy with the price we paid, the fitting was streamlined quick and our two fitters ( James and James) were friendly, fast working and tidy. The house was left clean each time they finished and we had 9 windows plus a bay fitted in what amounted to 3 half days .There has been absolutely no need for any touching up, replastering, or painting at all .They look fab and are great quality .

I have been using Acorn for years as a builder. I have always found them reasonable and honest. The quality of windows and doors excellent. I can't say that everything is perfect but 95 percent of the time I have had no serious issues. Like us you can't always get it right but we will do whatever is necessary to resolve any problems if occurred. I have windows installed and made by these guys in extensions built over 25 years ago
