Expanding the Rio Range: The Deep Bottom Rail
Our latest addition to the Rio flush fit line is the new deep bottom rail option. It beautifully captures the classic look of timber sash windows, while offering all the modern benefits of uPVC – convenience, energy efficiency, and low maintenance. The new sash profile seamlessly complements the existing Rio range, giving you even more design flexibility.
For an authentic appearance, the deep bottom rail is mechanically joined to the sash bottom using a screwported aluminium component. Homeowners can now choose a consistent flush sash throughout, or add the deep bottom rail for a touch of traditional charm.
As part of the Rio family, this new profile enhances the timeless appeal of Rio flush fit windows, creating a truly beautiful heritage look.

Flush Rio Doors
The latest addition to REHAU’s Rio flush fit range is a single open-out door that complements the established Rio window system aiming to help fabricators and installers provide a consistent aesthetic to homeowners wanting matching windows and doors. Based on homeowner insight and the popularity of Anthracite Grey Grained, Simply White and Pearl Grey colours for the Rio Flush Fit window, REHAU’s new flush fit door is customisable in a number of colours.
- Extension to the existing Rio flush fit range with introduction of the Rio door.
- Single open out residential door complements the established Rio window system.
- Option to specify either TOTAL70C or TOTAL70S outer frames.
- Dedicated butt hinges designed for the flush door system.
- Customisable in a number of popular finishes Anthracite grey, Pearl Grey and Simply white.

Rio French Door
The new Rio flush fit French door uses REHAU’s Deep Bottom Rail, which was developed to complement the original window system. Consequently, installers and fabricators do not need a new-door sash, further streamlining fitting. Alongside this, the new door has been certified to the PAS 24 security standard, having been tested at its maximum size – 1900mm x 2250mm.
